Keeping a car spotless and super clean is not easy. Somehow dirt, stains, crumbs and dust will find there way into your car. It’s just inevitable, it will get dirty either way. There are thousands of car cleaning products on the market, unfortunately, most of them are filled with so many harmful chemicals.
Don’t worry, we at small joys have compiled a list of fantastic ways to help you keep your beloved ride super clean! Guess what? You probably already have most of the stuff on the list in your house!
1. Vinegar and baking soda

A perfect blend of vinegar and baking soda will get rid of all those dark, stubborn stains on your upholstery and mats in an instant. All you have to do is mix white vinegar and baking soda to create a paste. Apply it on the dirty area with a toothbrush and let it dry completely. Don’t forget to vacuum it all up afterwards. Your car will look as good as new!
2. A cheap foam brush or paint brush

Use a small bristle or foam paint brush to clean the vents and all around the knobs. Ensure that you vacuum as you wipe in order to remove all the dust.
3. Olive oil

Olive oil also works magic when it comes to cleaning your car. Stay away from toxic sprays or wipes when cleaning your car dashboard. A cloth and some little olive oil are enough to make your leather look shiny and brand new.
4. A bottle of water and a squeegee
Pour water in a spray bottle and lightly wet your seats. Then drag a squeegee along the seats to suck up all the pet hair.
5. All natural car freshener
Get rid of toxic car fresheners and embrace mother nature. A combination of baking soda and essential oils like lavender or eucalyptus or peppermint oils will work wonders in your car if well mixed. Pour the mixture in a mason jar and put holes at the top in order to eliminate any odors from your car. Then place it in a cup holder or on the floor in a secure spot and you’re ready to go.
6. Streakless windshield wipers

Clean your windshield wipers with rubbing alcohol. It will prevent smudging, leaving your windshield sparkling clean!
7. Vinegar and newspaper for streak free windows
Fill a spray bottle up with vinegar, let it sit for a few minutes and then wipe it all off with newspaper. It will leave your windshield streak free.
8. Shiny chrome wheels

Mix equal proportions of water and vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray all over your chrome and then wipe it down with a rag for super shiny wheels.
9. All natural wheel cleaner
Mix some baking soda and water into a paste, rub it all over your wheels with a brush, then rinse it off to get a clean shinny look.
10. Good old organic car wash

Don’t go out waste money on a car wash that covers your car in chemicals. Use the all-natural liquid castile soap which is made from natural plant oils. Add some water to it, lather up your car, wash and rinse it. You’ll be ready to hit the road again within a short period of time.
