But in most cases stress is not good and can be detrimental to one’s health if not abated.

3. You’re lying awake at night
Are you frequently having bouts of tossing and turning in your bed and wishing your mind would just shut down? That weird feeling that makes you wake up feeling like you are carrying a dead weight around? Guess what? That funny feeling and disruption of your sleep cycle may well be a sign that sneaky stress hormones are having a field day circulating in your body at unhealthy levels. It is time to get to the bottom of the cause before you get serious health effects. You may have to adjust your schedule and get some breathing space.
4. Weight changes
Stress can also affect your weight, you can either lose or gain weight when you’re extremely stressed. If you’re a foodie, you’ll find that you turn to food for comfort when stressed, so if you notice, your clothes can hardly fit, its high time you evaluate your stress levels to see if they are affecting your diet.
5. You’ve got no patience
Are you feeling moody, irritable or short tempered most of the time? You don’t get along with anyone. You feel lonely and isolated, and your relationships are becoming brittle. You are walking around like a time bomb. Fasten your seat belt! Something might be way out of place, and that sneaky thing is nothing other than stress. Stress makes your inner rage beast bubble up in interactions where you would normally feel right.
6. Hair loss
Have you noticed multiple strands of hair stuck in your comb lately? If they are many, way more than usual, it could be a sign that your hair is shedding off. Stress can affect all aspects of your life including physical health. Do you have unexplained body aches and pains? It could be due to stress. High levels of stress cause muscle tension and spasms which manifests as a sudden pain.
